Unit: Electric Game

Unit: “Electric Game”

The “Electric Game” unit engages students in grades 6-8 in a 180-minute interdisciplinary project integrating science, technology, arts, and mathematics. The primary objective is to create a game that applies knowledge about electric circuits. Students will design and build a game where correctly matching pairs completes an electric circuit, causing a light to switch on. The unit emphasises understanding electric circuits, creative design, and practical application of scientific knowledge. Activities include observing and disassembling a commercial electric game, designing a handmade version, creating question sheets, and testing the game with peers. This project fosters cooperation, communication, and hands-on learning.
